Christmas Last year was certainly merry with the now annual Doctor Who Christmas special.
Synopsis
"It's Christmas Eve in 1851 and Cybermen stalk the snow of Victorian London, in this special Christmas edition of Russell T Davies's Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama.When the Doctor arrives and starts to investigate a spate of mysterious deaths, he's surprised to meet another Doctor, and soon the two must combine forces to defeat the ruthless Miss Hartigan. But are two Doctors enough to stop the rise of the CyberKing?"
The Story
The Doctor arrives in Victorian London where he meets a mysterious future incarnation of himself who has no recollection of his past self. The doctor then learns about the evil Cybermen stalking the town and decides to investigate, though its not long before he comes face to face with his old enemies.
Meanwhile, the evil Miss Hartigan plots against humanity and to help the Cyberking rise. She and the Cybermen then abduct children to to use to help there plot. Its then up to the Doctor and And 'The next Doctor' who now realises his true self to be Jackson Lake, to save Christmas.
